We believe safety is the foundation for every successful project. At Ganaraska Forming, our top priority is the safety of our team and partners. We go through extensive measures to ensure that all staff and subcontractors are accredited and understand safe work practices, the procedures to prevent injury, risks of occupational hazards and occupational disease. Before we begin a project, our team conducts a rigorous audit to identify the potential hazards that may/can arise on-site. In accordance with regulations, we evaluate various methods to avoid and minimize hazards without compromising the job. On every site, we have designated safety leaders to uphold the safety standards we have set at the Company.

Safety Initiatives
At Ganaraska Forming, we have set forth numerous safety initiatives to further minimize and mitigate the risks that can arise at the workplace. The Safety Meeting Program is a way for all team members to engage and collectively identify the areas of potential site hazards. As mentioned, the first meeting takes place prior to the commencement of work. By holding these meetings regularly, we can reflect on the changing work site with the goal to avoid any/all potential new hazards.

We have also launched our "It Starts With You" initiative to encourage team members to take ownership of safety practices throughout their day-to-day duties. We believe that safety starts from the bottom up and cannot be implemented unless all team members are on board. This initiative reminds team members that they are not only accountable for their safety, but also for the safety of others.

Together with this initiative, we have implemented an Open Door Policy. We encourage all workers to communicate any situation/circumstance where they may feel unsafe or if they feel workplace practices can potentially be unsafe to themselves or other workers on site.
